UK customers may be supplied iPhones by T-Mobile

Now, iPhone 3G handsets may be offered by T-Mobile to some select customers. O2 currently hold the exclusive rights and are the only network operator which offers iPhone models to UK consumers.
There has been a confirmation on the part of various sources who are close to the company, saying that the company has been in the process of buying unlocked iPhone 3G devices, and giving them to select customers to induce them to increase or extend their T-mobile deals.
However, T-Mobile has refused to make an official comment on the matter. The iPhone offer seems to be applicable to only those customers who spend a minimum of 70 pounds per month, and not everyone would get an iPhone from T-Mobile.
The iPhone 3G devices (which are unlocked) are quite easily available in the United Kingdom, and retailers like Play.com sell them for approximately £589.99 for the 16GB model. Now it seems that T-Mobile has made a private purchase of an unknown number of such handsets, from a US based supplier that is also not known, with the aim of offering these to customers totally free, or perhaps at a less charge.
The iPhone 3Gs, which is the latest iPhone model, hit the stands for sale in the month of June. But what should be noted is that though unlocked models of this particular device are quite easily available online, O2 is the only network operator which is currently offering this to the customers.
Many people are speculating that this exclusive agreement between Apple and O2 could end soon, due to some reports which say that the deal is valid only until October , and thus other network operators would be able to offer the iPhones to customers well before the Christmas season comes around.
But O2 is still insistent that this is an exclusive agreement with Apple, for supplying the iPhone to various customers spread over the UK market, but Apple has refused to comment on this.
It is most probable that O2 will still have the sole rights to sell the newest iPhone 3GS handsets, and other operators will only be able to sell the iPhone 3G.

With SIM only deals one can anytime withdraw the service easily and go for the another scheme that sounds profitable. Moreover this kind of deal come with a complete freedom as here there is no penalty or hidden charges involved in it. It means an individual is free to reuse its existing handset just by inserting the new SIM card.
Cant wait to get my iPhone on T-mobile
Solid blog. I got a lot of effective information. I’ve been following this technology for awhile. It’s fascinating how it keeps changing, yet some of the core factors stay the same. Have you seen much change since Google made their latest acquisition in the domain?
Hi – very good web site you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to write a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically sweet. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed playing with information processing systems and am attempting to learn code in my free time (which there is never enough of lol).
The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.Have you tried the ipad? you can get one free at FreshGiftCard.com
I learned about the new Ipad. Is it predicted to easily replace the 3G?
